wrong number e mails total displayed

Live mail does not seem to be updating the actual number of emails that have been read, once ive read them in Live mail. Live messenger reports more messages to read, even when Ive read them in live mail

Yes, that appears to happen too, WLMD beta reports too many messages in the bottom right hand corner. Also, Windows Live Messenger also reports incorrect numbers of emails when I have read (and deleted) any messages in WLMD beta.

Hi there, I'm also experiencing the 'phantom e-mail' notification in the bottom-right corner of WLMDB. What's strange, is that I am told I have '7 new e-mails' when I haven't downloaded any, or missed any unread e-mails. It happens each time I log in to WLMDB.
